If you are about to buy a Speed Freaks Evil Evo, and you already own a Speed Freaks Scoobie please display the two cars at least two feet apart — preferably with as many other Speed Freaks in between them as possible; ideally in separate display cabinets!
Remember to keep a light on at night in the room where they are displayed, or if possible make sure you place either in their box when you retire to bed.
Why? ‘cause they’ll race each other!
Normally, in the darkest part of the night, when all is still and very quiet, they’ll race.
So that broken cup? That knocked over vase? Evo v Scoobie racing. They can’t stop it. It’s built into their nuclear compound structure. They’ll race! Notice that small chip in the paint on one or other of your Speed Freaks collection which you blamed on your mum’s dusting? Scoobie v Evo racing I’m afraid — you have been warned!
Oh, and just for the record, if you were thinking of buying the Evo to add to your collection, it’s based on an Evo seven…so now you know.
